Wedding Day Romance
Wedding Romance with Tiffany and Michael in the Coachella Valley!
You may remember Tiffany and Michael, we photographed their engagement session at the well known Lautner – Bob Hope Estate in sunny Palm Springs last year. You view can take a look back here. They are such a sweet couple! We loved adding them to our EMP family! Their beautiful wedding took place inside of Sacred Heart Church. The day was perfectly paired with love and amazing light beaming through the stained glass windows of the Church. Their traditional Catholic ceremony was beautiful and left a lasting impression on our Bride.
“The most memorable and my favorite part of the wedding was our ceremony. I loved every minutes of it. Father Alex gave such a great message. His words replay in my head over and over.” ~ Tiffany
Wedding celebrations with family and friends continued in a romantic outdoor setting. Toasts to the lovely Bride and Groom, dancing, cake cutting, laughs with friends and romantic photos were some of the highlights of the day!
We asked Tiffany to share a few wedding details and any tips for those of you beginning your wedding planning process. Here is what she had to say.
Q. Tiffany, where did you purchase your dress?
A. I purchased my dress at David’s Bridal in Ontario. It is from their Jewel Collection.
Q. Who was your florist?
A. Our flower designs were from a family friend who makes arrangement as a hobby and side job.
Q. Your cake was amazing! Who created such a lovely wedding cake?
A. Our cake was made by a lady named Sonia Gutierrez from Coachella. She is AMAZING. We went to a lot of well known bakeries and they couldn’t bring my vision to life. We sat down with her once and she knew exactly what we wanted and to top it off, it was so delicious!!
Q. Hair and Makeup Artist?
A. My hair was done by Yesenia Garcia from Pro Salon in La Quinta. She’s been cutting my hair for years and never fails to amaze me, she is also my cousin so working together is always stress free. My makeup was done by Arlene Martinez, she’s the counter manager at MAC Palm Desert and also my sister in law. These two ladies I trust with my life.

Q. Music?
A. For music we had DJ Nano and Banda Junior de Sinaloa.
Q. Any other favorite moments or vendors that helped make your wedding day spectacular?
A. Besides my amazing styling duo…
My other favorite vendor was Erica Mendenhall Photography. You are so professional and on top of things. It was a pleasure to work with you. I love your humor and easy going personality. You were not only our photographer but also a guide for us. I know your pictures will make us relive our wedding every time we see them.
Okay, can we just pause to say THANK YOU TIFFANY AND MICHAEL FOR SUCH SWEET WORDS!!! It means the world, and is exactly why we LOVE being photographers!
Q. Any tips for future Brides and Grooms?
A. A tip I would give to other couples would be to enjoy the process. Don’t stress out too much, planning a wedding is also a bonding experience between you and your fiancé and we shouldn’t take that for granted. Things will go wrong and it’s okay, at the end of the day all that matters is that you enjoy your day and the memories you’ll have for a life time.
Tell us a little bit about the two items that you wore in memory of loved ones on your wedding day.
Tiffany, “My heirloom was one of my grandmother’s rings. When I got engaged I made a trip to Mexico to tell her in person that I was getting married. A couple of weeks later she passed away so I asked for a piece of jewelry I could wear of hers to have her close to me on my wedding night. Another special piece I had with me were my nephew’s Dog Tags. We wrapped them around my bouquet. My nephew and I were very close and four years ago we lost him in a car accident.
What were your something old, borrowed, and blue? And do explain that special gift from the Groom!
Tiffany, “My something old were my heels, the heels I wore to my wedding were also the heels I wore to my friend’s wedding where I was honored to be her bridesmaid. My something blue were my toe nail polish and garter. I borrowed a bracelet from my friend(Linette) she was nice enough to let me use the bracelet she wore on her wedding day. Something new was a very special gift I got the morning of our wedding, My husband surprised me with a beautiful Rose Gold Watch”.
Tiffany thanks for sharing insight into your wedding day with the future #EMPBrides! Now, onto the best part…their wedding day photos!
