Ingleside Inn Wedding & Reception at Melvyn’s:
The historic Palm Springs Ingleside Inn and legendary Melvyn’s Restaurant was the perfect setting for Tom and Leslie’s intimate wedding. The historic boutique hotel boasts of iconic old Hollywood style. In the center of the inner courtyard you will find a beautiful fountain surrounded by gorgeous mountain views, whimsical tall trees, and blooming flowers along the walkways. The setting creates a feeling of romance and happiness. The perfect place for a wedding! With it’s round archways and iron gates, it’s no wonder that this boutique hotel has been loved by so many over the years.
Tom and Leslie said their vows surrounded by their loving family and friends. Many of whom traveled from afar to be there in celebration with them. Spending time with their guests was very important to both Tom and Leslie. Friends and family were each greeted in true receiving line form after their ceremony and later they celebrated in one of Palm Springs most legendary restaurants just steps away; Melvyn’s.
Wedding celebrations continued with stories from guests, who were childhood friends to both the Bride and Groom. Yes, Tom and Leslie have known each-other since childhood! Growing up they were neighbors outside of California. Recently, reunited on social media, their friendship blossomed once again to the now amazing relationship as husband and wife here in Sunny Palm Springs!
As you will see in their wedding day photos, Leslie and Tom radiated pure joy! Every time I spoke with Leslie over the phone about her wedding details, her excitement was so contagious! I couldn’t help but smile along with her and feel just as excited as she was. The hair, the dress, her flowers, the story about her rings (how they were the first ones they both tried on and they fit, “so it was meant to be”)…I loved hearing it all! What a joy it was for me to photograph this lovely couple!
